2 . Avoid ableist language

Ableism is the discrimination of and social prejudice against people with disabilities based on the perception that typical abilities are usually superior. Ableist language consists of words or phrases for example crazy, insane, blind in order to, cripple, dumb, and others. This reveals unconscious bias on the belief that typical abilities are superior .

  2. Reach all people and;
  3. Combat prejudice, interpersonal stigma and discrimination.
  4. Make sure this is a distributed vision with all the teams inside your company

Invest amount of time in teaching and sharing this vision within the company, is an important step to have all the groups involved and part of this particular change.
